What is Money Milestones Diary?
Hello! Welcome to my Money Milestones Diary. I started this journey with an Instagram account to track my money milestones and share all of the budgeting, money savings, and wealth-building tricks I learn along the way. Over the years I have gained the title of the “Crazy Money Lady” amongst my friends and family, it’s kind of like '“Crazy Cat Lady”, but way dorkier. I feverishly started researching how to most effectively manage my money and gain the largest amount of financial literacy possible, and could not believe how little I knew.
I also log how I balance my retirement goals while not sacrificing experiences and little luxuries. After having the same or similar conversations with a variety of people, I finally decided I would centralize all of my knowledge in one spot and hopefully help as many people as possible. If one individual takes one step forward in their Financial Literacy journey from my site, I will consider it a major win!
I live, work and play in the Philadelphia Metro area with my husband and 2 young ones under the age of 5. We live to eat and travel, which is one of the primary reasons that we work so hard to focus dialing in our finances now.
Our Why for Creating Financial Independence
Global pandemic excluding, we have a passion for budget traveling internationally and domestically. A big bucketlist item for me is to see all 50 states and all 7 continents. We also love all things food: cooking food, trying new restaurants and above all, eating food. We realized that the saying that your greatest asset is your time really is true. We do not intend to trade our time for money until we are 65!
With my husband, we are a dual income home and have a sweet, precocious 3 year old son and recent addition of an infant who keeps us on our toes. Please join us on our little community and Wealth Building / Fire Journey
